Hello,
My name is Marlies. I create spaces to come home to yourself — through movement, sound and structure.
Whether we work with the body through yoga, the voice through mantra, or create clarity in an overwhelmed mind, home or administration, my intention is the same: more space, connection and lightness.

Yoga · Mantra · Structure — three ways of creating space for what truly matters.
My Story
My path with yoga began in 2004. After years of practising with inspiring teachers and in studios around the world, I felt called to deepen my own path and share the transformative power of yoga with others.
I completed 600 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, alongside numerous workshops and continued study, and began teaching in 2017. Whenever possible, I travel to Asia to practise, learn and draw inspiration from different teachers, traditions and ways of approaching yoga.
For me, yoga is ultimately about coming home to yourself — into the body, the breath and the present moment.
Mantra found me
I have been singing my entire life, but in 2018 something shifted. During an Ecstatic Kirtan in Koh Phangan, my heart was completely stolen by mantra.
From that moment, I felt a growing pull to bring mantra into my teaching. In 2022, I finally bought my own harmonium and began sharing what had felt so natural from the very beginning: singing mantra together.
There is something powerful about making sound with others. You don’t need to be a singer, know the words or have a beautiful voice. You simply listen, breathe, sing and allow yourself to be heard.
From events to structure
Before becoming a yoga teacher, I worked in festival production and event management. I loved the creativity, energy and magic of creating experiences for people, but over time I began longing for something different: more grounding, rhythm and connection.
Yoga offered me that — and continues to do so every day.
My background in event management also shaped another part of my work: Structure Coaching.
I love creating clarity out of chaos and making space for what matters. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck or surrounded by too much — helping them bring more overview, order and lightness into their mind, body, home or administration.
For me, organising is not about making everything perfect. It is about letting go of what no longer serves you, creating space for something new, and making life feel a little more manageable.
Three ways of creating space
-
Yoga
I teach yoga in studios, at offices and for companies, as well as private one-on-one and group sessions.
My teaching is rooted in curiosity, presence and connection. I invite you to explore the body, breath and mind, while creating a practice that meets you where you are.
-
Mantra
I guide mantra singing sessions, kirtan with musicians and one-on-one harmonium lessons.
Through voice, vibration and repetition, mantra offers a simple way to become present, connect with yourself and experience the joy of making sound together.
-
Structure
I support people who feel overwhelmed or stuck to create more clarity, space and lightness.
Together we can bring structure to whatever feels chaotic — whether that is your thoughts, your body, your home or your administration.
And beyond the work…
I love singing, dancing, dressing up and adding a little sparkle to life. I believe there should always be room for play, curiosity and the inner child to express itself.
I’m enthusiastic, curious, passionate, loving, caring, organised and determined. I like bringing both grounding and sparkle into the spaces I create.
Whether we meet on a yoga mat, around a harmonium or in the middle of a chaotic to-do list, my intention is the same:

To create more space for you to breathe, connect, move, sing, let go and become more fully yourself.
